Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for their forever homes at the Eurobodalla Animal Welfare League!
Dog of the week: Brutus
Meet Brutus!
Brutus is a gorgeous six-month-old black-and-white mastiff mix.
Brutus came into care with Animal Welfare League Eurobodalla because his owners found themselves with too many dogs, and realised they couldn’t give him the attention he deserves.
He is going to be a large dog, and he’s already shown he has the makings of a lovely pet.
Brutus is calm, friendly and obedient.
Still a pup, Brutus can be a little excitable around children, but he’s a quick learner, and will appreciate some ongoing training.
He’s already doing well at walking on a lead, is great with other dogs, and loves playing with a ball.
He has lived on a property and is house-trained.
Brutus hasn’t met any cats, chickens or pocket pets.
Because Brutus is too young for desexing, he is available on a foster-to-adopt basis, whereby he goes to his new home vaccinated and microchipped, and AWL covers the cost of his desexing at a later date.

Large and in charge, Lester loves to play, smooch and be the centre of human and feline attention. Photo: Eurobodalla AWL.
Cat of the week: Lester
Meet Lester!
Lester is a 10-month-old, big, beautiful, tabby-and-white domestic short hair cat, with cheeks you just want to squeeze!
If you are looking for a confident, fun-loving man, Lester is your guy.
He has mastered the art of zoomies and loves to play with other cats.
Once his boundless energy has run down, he loves to smooch and will become your most treasured companion.
Lester came to the AWL from the local council pound, but he’s clearly had a loving home at some stage. If only he could tell us about his life!
Whatever difficulties he’s faced have not dented his sweet nature one bit.
He’s a loving cat and wants nothing more than to be your whole world.
Lester would do well in a home with another cat or cats, and where he has lots of human company as well.
Lester comes desexed, microchipped, vaccinated and flea, tick and worm treated.
Previously featured pets, Miles and Newt, have found their forever homes, while last week’s pets, Beauty and Hazel, are still available.
To arrange a meet-up with Brutus, Lester or any of AWL Eurobodalla’s animals for adoption give them a call on 0410 016 612, or use the form on the AWL website.
