With beautiful weather ahead for the weekend, there is no better time to head out and about to explore the region.

If you’re keen to hear live music, The Silverline is set to perform in Boorowa; Canberra Strings is putting on their rendition of Schubert’s Death and the Maiden in Braidwood; and the Currents Festival will take place in Batemans Bay on the NSW South Coast.

You can keep the whole family entertained at the Tumut Falling Leaf Festival. Or if you want to learn more about sustainability on the Sapphire Coast, head to Wolumla on Saturday, 24 April. If textiles are your thing, learn more about the ACT Textiles Association and pick up some goodies from its market stall on Saturday in Queanbeyan.

Love cars? The Yass Show & Shine will be back in town all day on Saturday so polish your preferred vehicle of choice and head down.

In Moruya, a very special Anzac Day service will be happening at dusk, where you can see the town’s replica of the Martin Place Cenotaph, built from local granite.

Have a great week, everyone!
