Driver dies after two-truck crash on Hume Highway

One man died after a two-truck crash on the Hume Highway on the weekend.

NSW Police said two trucks collided on the highway at the locality of Cullerin, which is between Gunning and Goulburn, at around 11 pm on Friday night (13 December).

The driver of one of the trucks, a man police believed to be in his 40s, died at the scene.

The driver of the second truck – a 25-year-old man – was uninjured and was taken to Goulburn Hospital for mandatory testing.

“Police established a crime scene and commenced inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the crash,” a police spokesperson said.

“A report will be prepared for the coroner.”
