NSW Police said two trucks collided on the highway at the locality of Cullerin, which is between Gunning and Goulburn, at around 11 pm on Friday night (13 December).
The driver of one of the trucks, a man police believed to be in his 40s, died at the scene.
The driver of the second truck – a 25-year-old man – was uninjured and was taken to Goulburn Hospital for mandatory testing.
