Police have alleged a fire that damaged a Gundagai business was deliberately lit, as they call for information.
A NSW Police spokesperson said emergency services were called to Sheridan Street in Gundagai shortly before 8 pm on Tuesday (17 June).
Officers attached to Riverina Police District found a shopfront alight and established a perimeter. Fire and Rescue NSW extinguished the fire.
Police have established a crime scene and started an investigation into the fire, which they say is believed to have been deliberately lit.
“There were no reports of injuries as a result of the fire and there was no structural damage caused to the premises,” the spokesperson said.
