A child has died and three people have been injured in a horror crash on the Far South Coast.

A NSW Police spokesperson said emergency services were called to Towamba Road, Nullica (about 10 kilometres southwest of Eden) at about 4:10 pm on Tuesday afternoon (13 May), after a dual-cab ute and truck collided.

They found a six-year-old boy, who had been travelling in the ute, had died at the scene.

The driver, a man in his 30s, along with a three and an eight-year-old girl, suffered multiple injuries.

All three have been airlifted to hospital.
