Motorists travelling between Canberra and the South Coast on the Kings Highway could face delays from next week.
Slope remediation work, as part of the second stage of National Disaster Recovery on the Kings Highway at Clyde Mountain, will recommence on Monday 10 January 2022, after ceasing temporarily in mid-December due to wet weather and machine repairs.
The work at one location is now expected to be complete by early February 2022, weather permitting.
Further slope remediation will be carried out at other locations and the community will be notified prior to work commencing.
Work will be carried out at night from 7 pm to 5 am, Monday to Thursday, under a single lane closure.
Planned traffic changes will include lane closures, intermittent stop/slow traffic conditions, and delays of up to 20 minutes.
