Jerrawa sits in rural NSW on the north side of the Hume in the Upper Lachlan Shire, about 30 km from Yass. It’s a small, rural town with a rich history of colonial settlement, and has native pastures on which sheep and cattle graze.

Of course, there are the traditional ag categories, with fine merino fleece and sheep competing for prizemoney. For the kids, they can enter a series of athletic events, including an egg and spoon race.

Eileenville sits at the heart of this community at 613 Jerrawa Road, and while the cottage is modest but in good condition, the sheds are solid and agricultural holdings this size are hard to source at Yass.
Sheds include a woolshed, hay shed, fully enclosed and lockable machinery shed, and a charming garden shed at the cottage.
Catherine Creek, which runs through the property, has some deep pools and springs, and Eileenville has a good bore supply for trough water, and rainwater tanks service the potable water to the cottage.
A quaint garden shed adds even more character to Eileenville.
Most recently, the vendors have been running cattle at Eileenville, but this is prime sheep grazing land and is set up for wool production.
The school bus runs past to pick up children attending Yass schools, and in Jerrawa, which was established as a railway town, there are many historic buildings to see, including the church which was built in 1862.
