A woman is dead and three men have been taken to hospital after two cars crashed on the NSW South Coast.
The crash occurred between a ute and a hatchback on Mount Dromedary Trail at Central Tilba, which is about 20 km south of Narooma, in the early hours of Monday morning (5 January), NSW Police said.
Police said officers were told the first man was driving in the ute, which contained the woman as a passenger, when it crashed and rolled.
The hatchback, which was driven by a second man, had been travelling behind them and hit the crashed ute, police were told.
The woman died at the scene while the two male drivers, both aged 32, were treated for minor injuries before being taken to Moruya Hospital for mandatory testing.
A 30-year-old man who was the second passenger in the ute was taken to the same hospital for treatment.
“A crime scene has been established and an investigation into the incident has commenced; both vehicles have been seized for forensic examination and a report will be prepared for the information of the coroner,” a police spokesperson said.
