The South Coast’s Fungi Feastival is going strong, with plenty of events to excite, such as art, truffle hunts and workshops.
Queanbeyan’s Royal Hotel hosts a hugely successful touring AC/DC tribute act playing iconic rock n’ roll hits.
And at the Goulburn Performing Arts Centre, The Queen’s Nanny is a play telling a fiery story of royal discontent as the stolid queen mother battles with her nanny.

The Fungi Feastival is a month-long extravaganza of art, workshops, book launches, exhibitions, painting, pottery, dinners, cooking classes, film showings, kayak journeys and more. If you can think of an activity, it’s probably on at the Fungi Feastival and the best part is it’s all across the South Coast, from Pambula to Tanja, Moruya, Cobargo, Narooma, Tomakin, Merimbula and more!

The Charles Ledger Alpaca Show
When: 5 and 6 July, 9 am to 5 pm
Where: 45 Braidwood Rd, Goulburn
Cost: Free.
The Charles Ledger Alpaca Show has been running since 1989, taking its name from the man credited with importing the first alpacas to NSW from South America in 1858.
This show runs for two days and there will be visiting exhibitors from NSW, Victoria and Queensland showing off their prized alpacas. Members of the public are welcome to watch the judging. If you’ve got questions about alpacas, either for a commercial or hobby farm, this is a great chance to get some real answers from the pros.

Celebrate Plastic Free July with this hands-on workshop where participants will learn how to turn an old T-shirt into yarn that they can then weave into an upcycled basket. It’s a great way to reduce waste, learn how to do something new and save money. Bring along a shirt or two from home or save one from the op-shop and use that. This workshop is suitable for kids aged five and up and is available at the Batemans Bay Library on the 8th at 10:30 am and the Narooma Library on the 9th at 10:30 am.

Alex Clark Live at The Steampacket Hotel

Alex Clark is a solo acoustic artist and a rising star in the area due to an original and eclectic style of performance. Inspired by folk, country, punk and rock, she adapts to each performance, be it in a bar, pub, wedding or winery, drawing on her vast talent. She has played alongside acts such as Mental As Anything, Jack Biilmann, The Rolling Stones Show, Gywen Ashton and The Beatles Show. Don’t miss out on this Friday’s live music performance at the Steampacket Hotel.

Bon But Not Forgotten is a world-renowned AC/DC tribute act and they’ve been on the road to celebrate five decades of the best rock n’ roll band in Australia. This tour will feature timeless hits that have created the rock ‘n’ roll sound so unique to AC/DC, such as Highway to Hell, T.N.T. and Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap. The tour is also joined by Cynthia Gallie, an extraordinary rock vocalist, James Morley of The Angels on guitar and Bobby Poulton of Wolfmother on bass.

Author Margaret Hickey comes to the Braidwood Library to talk about her latest novel, An Ill Wind, an electrifying story of mystery and murder in rural Australia.

They unravel conspiracy, competing economic interests and a clash of the old and the new.
