A 79-year-old man has died following a three-vehicle crash over the weekend.
A NSW Police spokesperson said emergency services were called to Crookwell Road, Wayo (approximately 20 kilometres north-west of Goulburn) at about 10 am on Sunday (16 March).
The crash involved a motorcyclist, a car and a light truck carrying six cattle, police say.
On arrival, officers attached to The Hume Police District attempted to assist the motorcyclist, a 79-year-old man. However, he could not be revived and died at the scene.
A crime scene was established, and inquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident have started.
Police say the driver of the car – a man aged 37 – and the driver of the truck – a 58-year-old man- were uninjured.
Both will be subjected to mandatory testing.
The cattle were uninjured.
Police will prepare a report for the Coroner.
