Police have appealed for help finding a 50-year-old woman missing from the NSW Southern Tablelands region.

A NSW Police spokesperson said that Jody Lang was last seen on Braidwood Road in Tirrannaville (about 11 kilometres south of Goulburn), at about 6 pm on Sunday (17 August).

When she could not be contacted or located, officers attached to The Hume Police District were notified and started inquiries into her whereabouts.

Police have concerns for her welfare as her disappearance is out of character.

Jody is described as being of Caucasian appearance, about 175 cm tall, with a medium build, freckles, red shoulder-length hair, and green/blue eyes.

She is known to frequent the Tirrannaville and Bannaby areas.

The spokesperson also said it is believed Jody may be travelling in a silver 2004 Jeep Cherokee, with NSW registration DN99CX.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to call Goulburn Police Station on 02 4824 0799, or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
