A local version of the famous music festival ‘Lallapalooza’ will spring from the sands of Lilli Pilli this Saturday – October 19.
“Our very own mini Boosh Doof called ‘Lillipillooza’ will be held at 19 Lilli Pilli Rd, Lilli Pilli,” says Bernie Richards of Refugee Action Collective Eurobodalla.
“This fun festival fundraiser is part of the annual national Garage Sale Trail, which is sponsored by Eurobodalla Shire Council and encourages people to reduce, reuse, recycle.
“There will be something for everyone; vinyl, CDs, books, bric a brac, original art, vintage and collectables, toys, clothes, jewellery and accessories, and much more.
“There will also be a plant stall featuring terrariums and secret magical mini gardens!
“Refreshments will be available, including our famous ‘mezze’ plate and other finger food, including delicious cakes and bikkies. There will be a chai tent to sit and chillax in while you listen to music and watch Sapphire and Azzure Tribal Belly Dancers, who will perform at 12 noon.
“We encourage everyone to dress up in hippie music festival gear as there will be a prize for best dressed drawn around 1 pm.
“Although this event is for all ages, please note that event will be on a number of levels. Access may not suitable for people with mobility issues. On street parking only available.”
All proceeds from this annual fundraiser (previously known as Congo Bongo and Broulee Bazaar) will go to RAC Eurobodalla to help refugees.
