Meet our lovable Pets of the Week looking for their forever homes at the Eurobodalla Animal Welfare League!
Dog of the week: Ava
Meet Ava!
Ava is a large crossbreed dog, around two years old who came into care with AWL as a stray.
She’s a super-friendly girl with heaps of personality. Carers believe she may be a black-mouthed cur mix, based on her appearance and behaviour.
Ava’s good manners show that she has had training at some point, and she is keen to learn more.
Ava is calm, friendly and well-behaved with other dogs, however she is not suited to a home with cats or pocket pets, as she has a strong prey drive.
She has not been tested with other animals, but lives happily with a Staffie friend in her foster home.
Ava would be suited to an active family who will continue her training and value her loving nature.
Ava’s microchip number is 982000405887554.

Lovely Leo is the king of bedtime snuggles – now he just needs someone to share them with. Photo: Eurobodalla Animal Welfare League.
Cat of the week: Leo
Meet Leo!
Leo is a 22-month-old, pure white, short-haired cat who is ready to become a wonderful companion.
He’s a gentle, loving boy who came to AWL when his family’s circumstances changed and the household became just too busy and noisy for him.
Leo likes to have some alone time during the day but then shows his affectionate side in the evening and at bedtime.
He will snuggle up to you in bed and has the loudest purr as he climbs on you to give head bumps.
He likes to play with ping pong balls and enjoys pouncing at a cat wand.
Leo is open to living with another friendly cat, as long as it is in a quiet household.
Leo’s microchip number is 991003002724617.
Previously featured Pets of the Week Pickle and Yoki are still looking for their fur-ever homes.
As with all AWL pets, Ava and Leo come desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. Call AWL on 0410 016 612 to arrange a meeting.
