Has your family plugged into the Creative Kids voucher scheme yet? Money is waiting to help cover the cost of your child’s education.
Over 250,000 Creative Kids vouchers have been downloaded in the last six months, providing each child with $100 to help with the cost of creative and cultural learning activities.
Member for Monaro John Barilaro says, “This voucher helps parents plan for creative and cultural activities, which can really add to a household budget.”
“This program complements the hugely popular Active Kids vouchers which were doubled to two vouchers per child from July 1. For a family with two children, Creative and Active Kids vouchers combined will save you $600 per year.
“Involvement in creative and cultural learning activities is critical to a child’s growth and development – but enrolment costs can be expensive.
With a new school term just underway, Mr Barilaro says parents will be enrolling children in new activities, and “this voucher can help unlock a child’s creative talent.”
There are over 2,800 approved Creative Kids providers across over 2,600 locations in New South Wales.
Local providers include:
- Cooma Gymnastics Club;
- Snowy Mountains Performing Arts Academy;
- Stepz South Coast Dance Academy, Batemans Bay;
- Liz Barling School of Dance, Goulburn;
- Stage Flight Drama School, Pambula;
- Bega Valley Regional Gallery;
- Fling Physical Theatre, Bega Valley;
- Two Sheds Workshop, Bega.

Creative Kids covers a range of creative and cultural activities from arts to drama, languages, digital design, coding as well as music. Kids 4.5 to 18 years old are eligible, each child must be school-enrolled, home-schooled or enrolled in secondary school education at TAFE NSW or equivalent, at the time of application.
