A man has been refused bail after he was arrested as part of an investigation into drug dealing on the NSW South Coast.
NSW Police said Strike Force Kleinig was established in February 2024 to investigate the ongoing supply of drugs in the Batemans Bay area.
This investigation resulted in police raiding a home in Fauna Street, Long Beach, at around 9 am on Wednesday (8 May).
“Cocaine was allegedly seized at the scene, along with a mobile phone and laptop for forensic examination,” a police spokesperson said.
Police arrested 26-year-old Long Gia Ngo, who lives in the Eurobodalla Shire, and took him to the Batemans Bay Police Station before handing him 11 charges.
These were one count of supplying prohibited drugs on an ongoing basis, two counts of supplying an indictable quantity of a prohibited drug and eight counts of supplying a small quantity of a prohibited drug.
Mr Ngo appeared in the Batemans Bay Local Court on Thursday (9 May). He made no application for bail, which the court formally refused.
The matter was adjourned to 13 May.
