UPDATE: Missing teen found in Wollongong

UPDATE 13 July, 8:30 am – A teenager missing from the south coast region has been found safe and well.

Following police inquiries, she was found in Berkeley in Wollongong’s south at about 1:20 pm on Tuesday (12 July).

12 July – Police need our help to find missing teen Hayley Waplington.

The 17 year old was last seen at Wollongong train station at about 2:25 pm on Monday (11 July) after travelling from Bega.

She was reported missing after she failed to arrive in Nowra.

Hayley is described as being of Caucasian appearance, between 170cm and 180cm tall, of thin build, with brown and purple hair.

She was last seen wearing a black ‘LA gear’ hoodie, with grey track pants and black Nike TN shoes with pink laces.

Anyone with information about Hayley’s whereabouts is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
