High-end doesn’t even begin to describe this modern alpine home.

Crowning a hilltop that overlooks East Jindabyne’s most sought-after neighbourhoods, 19 Acacia Place offers five bedrooms, three bathrooms and a variety of refined entertainment spaces.

The architect-designed home spreads naturally across two levels on more than two acres of land. Its position offers fantastic privacy and 270-degree views across Lake Jindabyne to the Snowy Mountains beyond.

“There’s a grand sense of arrival at 19 Acacia Place. It immediately feels like a very special property,” Matisse Rawson from Belle Property Snowy Mountains says.

“My favourite aspect of the home would have to be the view, which remains a constant feature throughout. Its scale can only be properly experienced in person.”

Stepping over the threshold at ground level, visitors are led across tumbled eco-stone tiles, up a solid open-rise staircase and into the open-plan living, dining and kitchen space. Raked ceilings, a custom-made window seat and floor-to-ceiling raw stone fireplace quickly draw the eye.

“The incredible craftsmanship grabs your attention as soon as you enter the lounge,” Matisse says.

“Everyone loves the designer kitchen, which features rich marble benchtops, fully integrated appliances, a dual-zone wine fridge, stained oak cabinetry and handcrafted leather handles.

“The living area is obviously luxurious, but still feels warm and comfortable. It flows out to a large balcony where the view takes centre stage once again.”

A few metres away is the media lounge, which could also be used as a rumpus or sixth bedroom. Another living space is located downstairs, complete with its own kitchenette for added convenience.

Two bedrooms at ground level share a spacious family bathroom. The remaining three bedrooms are upstairs, privately positioned away from the main living area, with built-in storage and views to Lake Jindabyne. They’re complemented by a study nook and private balcony.

The master suite is yet another masterclass in luxury design. It comes equipped with a stylish ensuite, walk-in wardrobe and direct access to the main balcony.

Quality-of-life features throughout include remote-controlled curtains and external awnings, ducted heating and cooling, and fully integrated appliances.

There’s plenty of space for vehicles, too, thanks to the brand-new carport and oversized garage. A 20-foot container offers extra storage or workshop space, while two 5,000-litre tanks improve water security for added peace of mind.

The property’s landscaped grounds slope gently downward with sculpted rock retaining walls and mature native plantings. They effortlessly reflect the natural beauty of Snowy Mountains high country.

Home entertainers are spoiled as well. If one of the upstairs balconies doesn’t suit, head to the breezy front patio or turfed backyard alfresco with twinkling fairy lights.

Matisse describes East Jindabyne as a quiet, friendly community perfect for outdoor enthusiasts. She recommends nearby Tracie’s Cafe for delicious coffee and home-baked goods.

She says this home would suit growing families looking for a private, luxurious retreat with plenty of room to grow.

“Some properties are more impressive on paper, but this residence truly needs to be experienced in person,” Matisse says.

“19 Acacia Place offers a lifestyle that is difficult to replicate. Come and stand on the deck, take in the outlook and explore the scale and quality of this remarkable East Jindabyne residence for yourself.”
