UPDATE (2:38 pm, 1 Jan): Bridie has been found safe and well. ACT Policing would like to thank the community for their assistance.

Police are asking for the public’s help to find an eleven-year-old girl last seen in Curtin who has been missing since Boxing Day.

Bridie McNamara is believed to be with friends in the ACT or possibly the NSW South Coast but sustained efforts to find her have been unsuccessful.

Police are hoping a public appeal will provide the information needed for Bridie to be located.

They also want to reassure Bridie that she is not in any trouble.
