Police appeal following aggravated break and enter at Michelago

NSW Police are appealing for information following an aggravated break and enter at a service station at Michelago, just south of Canberra.

The alleged offence occurred at about 2.15 am last Wednesday, 2 October, when two unknown men broke into the service station.

The two men, wearing balaclavas, allegedly stole a number of items including cash, cigarettes, tobacco products and accessories, before fleeing in a white hatchback vehicle.

The first man has been described as approximately 170-180 cm tall with a slim build and was wearing a white t-shirt, grey jacket, long black pants, black shoes and black balaclava at the time of the alleged offence.

The second man has been described as approximately 170-180 cm tall with a slim build. He was wearing a light-coloured hoodie jumper, light-coloured track pants with a white stripe and white shoes at the time.

Police have released CCTV of the alleged offenders and are appealing for anyone who may have seen the two men to contact Monaro Police District on 02 6298 0514.

Anyone with information about this incident is urged to contact Crime Stoppers or call 1800 333 000. Information is treated in strict confidence.

Police also remind the public not to report crime via NSW Police social media pages.
