Police are seeking witnesses to an alleged road rage incident near Queanbeyan in which a man was apparently seen threatening others with a plank of wood.

A NSW Police spokesperson said officers were called to the intersection of Edwin Land Parkway and Stringybark Drive at Jerrabomberra, which is about 6 km south-east of Queanbeyan, at around 4:30 pm on Sunday (19 April).

Police had been told a man had armed himself with a plank of wood before he threatened three males inside a blue Volkswagen Golf.

The spokesperson said no one was at the intersection when the officers arrived.
