A man has been flown to Canberra Hospital in a serious but stable condition after a semi-trailer rolled near Tarago this morning (3 August).

At about 9:45 am, emergency services were called to Braidwood Road following reports of a crash.

The semi-trailer low loader had been carrying a large piece of road work machinery when it rolled.

The driver, a man aged in his 30s, was trapped but was released by passers-by.

He was treated at the scene by NSW Ambulance paramedics before he was flown to Canberra Hospital with serious head and facial injuries.

An investigation into the circumstances around the crash has begun. Anyone with information was encouraged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
