Man killed in single-vehicle crash near Broulee

A man has been killed in a single-vehicle crash on George Bass Drive near Broulee this morning (12 April).

Emergency services responded to reports that a Toyota Corolla had “crashed heavily with several trees” around 6:30 am, about 1 km north of the Moruya airport.

The driver and sole occupant of the vehicle, a man believed to be aged in his 20s, died at the scene.

He is yet to be formally identified.

Investigations are underway into what caused the crash, while a report is being prepared for the coroner.
