Meet our lovable Pets of the Week, looking for their forever homes at the Eurobodalla Animal Welfare League.
Cat of the week: Monty
This energetic tabby and white youngster is sure to bring a sparkle to any home.
Monty is four months old. He has a playful, loving nature and is always ready to cuddle. Monty and his mum were unfortunately dumped outside the Eurobodalla pound, but this bubbly boy hasn’t let a rough start to life bother him at all.
This little guy’s joyous demeanour is sure to melt your heart. He’s very affectionate, including with new people. His foster carer describes him as the perfect package.
As with any kitten, Monty will need plenty of attention and training to ensure he thrives in your household.
Adorable Sonny is still looking for his forever home! Photo: Eurobodalla Animal Welfare League.
Dog of the Week: Sonny
This 12-month-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix is a playful, curious bundle of love.
Sonny is a smart boy who learns quickly and, typical of his breed, absolutely loves people. He has plenty of energy, but is more than happy to snuggle up after his daily walk and a game or two.
Sonny came into care through no fault of his own – his previous household just didn’t have the time to give him. He is house-trained, and further training is coming along well. His new home will need to continue his education with clear boundaries and plenty of positive reinforcement.
This boy has so much love to give. He will thrive as an only pet with a stable routine. If you’re an experienced, committed guardian looking for a completely devoted and goofy best friend, Sonny is sure to bring you joy.
As with all AWL pets, Monty and Sonny come desexed, microchipped and vaccinated. Call AWL on 0410 016 612 to arrange a meeting.
Good news! Previously advertised cat Hazel has found a wonderful home.
