A driver has died after a head-on collision in Sutton on Thursday afternoon (8 August).
Around 12:35 pm, a head-on collision occurred between two vehicles on Sutton Road, Sutton, near Wattle Flat Road, with the vehicles catching fire after the crash.
One person died at the scene while another is being treated.
The road is expected to be closed in both directions for several hours, with diversions in place at the intersection of Sutton Road and the Federal Highway, Sutton, and Norton Road and Sutton Road, Queanbeyan.
NSW Police inquiries continue and a report will be prepared for the Coroner.
